A dedicated fund of Rs. 5000 crores has been established to support initiatives for sectoral Action Plans of the Champion Sectors with around Rs. 600 crores reserved for the IT / ITeS sector Through nodal ministry for the sector, i.e. the Ministry of Electronics & information Technology, Government of India, certain programmes were launched to promote software exports.

ESC’s proposal to support IT MSMEs under the Market Outreach Program of Champion Services Scheme was accepted and duly approved by the Government. After following due process, the 4 offices started functioning in the month of November 2021. Each of these offices is manned by a local Marketing Executive who is assisted by an Office Assistant and provides soft landing facilities for IT units wanting to enter US/ UK markets or to expand operations there.
